In April 2026, Shuliy shipped one SL-216 drum wood chipper to a biomass processing plant in Brazil. The machine was configured for 380V\/50Hz three-phase power and included a 6m feed conveyor, a 12m discharge conveyor, and two spare blades.<\/p>

The customer needed to process mixed wood and bamboo waste into uniform chips for biomass fuel production. Their old equipment broke down frequently and could not handle bamboo. The SL-216 wood chipper machine solved both problems. It now runs at 5 tons per hour with stable output.<\/p>

The customer operates a biomass processing facility in the state of S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil. The plant collects wood waste from local sawmills and bamboo residues from nearby farms. It converts this material into wood chips, which are then sold to pellet mills and biomass boiler operators.<\/p>

Brazil’s biomass sector is expanding quickly. The country has large forestry reserves and a growing demand for renewable fuel alternatives. However, many small and medium processing plants still rely on outdated or undersized equipment. This customer was one of them.<\/p>

Before contacting Shuliy, the plant used a small disc chipper and manual feeding methods. Output was low. Maintenance costs were rising. The machine also struggled with bamboo, which has a hard outer skin and fibrous structure.<\/p>
